About US

Hey, folks, what is the price for freedom?  Do you think enough of your second Amendment rights to invest $25 in a membership to the country's most effective pro-gun lobby?  Those questions only you can answer, and if you do decide to join the NRA-why pay $35 when you can save $10 by joining through an NRA recruiter.

Dave Fitzmorris has been the top Gun Show recruiter for the NRA since 1999, recruiting over 10,000 members in 29 weekends and up to 15 special events a year.  Dave knows the price of Freedom as he retired with over 20 years' service in the United States Air Force.

"As a yearly member then a 3- and 5- year member of the NRA before I became a Life Member and on up to Benefactor, I have always believed it was everyone's right under the Constitution of the United States to keep and bear arms.  The Right to Self Protection was paramount in my beliefs."  The NRA has always been at the forefront of firearms education and marksmanship and in the last few years, preserving our Second Amendment.  This is why in 1998 at a small agricultural show in North Carolina I decided I would try to recruit other people to join the NRA.  Really, it's about education-if you know the facts (not the spin), then the individual will make a well-informed decision.  As a recruiter for the NRA(#XP012625 - check me out if you wish with a 1-800-672-0004 call to Recruiting Program).  I can sign you up to join the NRA  through my website at a $10 savings off the regular membership fee of $35 for a1-year membership, with a 12 months' subscription to one of our magazines.  You can have 2 people join for the price of one. See About the NRA for membership details.

Look Folks-there are only two types of people: those that are part of the problem and those that are part of the solution.  Which do you want to be?  The fight to save and maintain our gun rights is entirely up to you.  If you have a beef with the way the NRA does business - think about this:  we were touted in the last presidential election as having been one of the main reasons Mr. Gore was defeated and this statement came from the former President of the United States about his own Vice President.  And, what about the fact that we were named the most effective lobby group in Washington, D.C., even overtaking the very large and megabuck-toting AARP.

It's simple - put your support where it will do the most good.  Join the NRA!

If you belong to another pro-gun group, that's fine, too.  But please remember we - the NRA -have lobbyists in the halls of Congress every day.  We have 35 NRA field representatives covering our 50 states.  We have the Institute for Legislative  Action and the Political Victory Fund who keep you updated on the issues and the candidates and work even down to the sheriff and local commissioner level when necessary to preserve your gun rights.

If any other organization can do what the NRA does - then why don't they do it!

Join with us and by your membership alone we will have more power and support to help preserve our heritage of being proud, law abiding firearm owners.

Let's do some math.  You can join the NRA through the television ads for $35 a year.  Or, $35 through the mail-in coupons or magazines.  Now, through a recruiter, an annual membership is only $25 for the same benefits.

Why, you ask, can a recruiter get you a membership in the NRA for $10 less than any other promotion?  The NRA recruiters are the most cost-effective way to get new members into the NRA.  We provide personal contact with everyone that we sign up - slightly modified here with advent of computer and internet access.

Hopefully all your questions will be answered by our website.  If not, email me at dfitznra@aol.com and I will answer your questions.  A bit of clarification: the recruiter cannot solve a wrong address problem, a magazine problem.  You must take the bull by the horns and call 1-800-672-3888 and follow the bouncing ball.   Remember, if you don't call and persist, nothing is accomplished.
